What is a 250-year celebration called? The technical term is semi-quincentennial. If that word is challenging, it is correct to call it a sestercentennial or even the term quarter-millennial is correct. Another term is being used. America250 is simpler and much better. It is hard to visualize all the changes that have occurred from 1776 until 2026. The changes that have happened just in my lifetime are overwhelming. But throughout our history God has blessed our nation. God has protected our people, sustained our great land and given America victory over numerous enemies. So, enjoy some great food with friends and family, display a US flag with pride, and watch the brilliant colors and sounds of fireworks. And remember, God is the only One who has made America great.
