It has been a week of fond memories of an annual event call Vacation Bible School or VBS. Some of the games we learned continued to be played with young people as I served as a youth pastor. Every now an then I find myself humming a song we learned during music time, and not too long ago I found a bookend made during my craft time at VBS. Oh, and who could forget the Kool-Aid and cookies, especially grape flavored and chocolate chips. But the most memorable parts of VBS were those adults who loved us and sacrificed so we could learn about Jesus. Join me in thanking God for our VBS staff and teachers. Please pray for them and the children they will be teaching this week.
