A word from our Pastor's Wife:

Some of my fondest memories, greatest life lessons, and most treasured friendships began in Girl Scouts.  My connection started when I became a Brownie Scout at age seven and ended as a Cadette when I was twelve.  Even at a young age, I understood the first commandment to love God with all my heart and the second to love my neighbor as myself mirrored what I was being taught in Scouts.  The Scout motto encouraged me to do my best to serve God and country and to help others at all times.  The Girl Scout programs and projects helped me to apply God's word to all areas of my life.  The inspirational examples of leaders Pat Keener and Jean Auton influenced my life and many others.  A big word of thanks to our Girl Scouts and their leaders.  You definitely make a difference in our world.
