If I were to choose my favorite time of the year, Spring would be my preference. This past Tuesday was the first day of Spring. Flowers are starting to bloom and trees are beginning to bud. Daytime and nighttime were almost equal last week, and now daylight hours will increase. We are literally surrounded by things that are coming to life before our very eyes. The renewal of life reminds me of what God has done for us in Jesus Christ. Even though we were dead in our sin and disobedience, God has made us alive in Christ. It might be a bit early to stop and smell the roses, but it is a wonderful time to rejoice in God’s handiwork.
