Remember how excited you were to start in a new class in school. New pencils, paper, books, classroom, and teacher made for an exciting adventure. And with all the newness, there was a determination to make that school year one of the very best ever. For some students (like me) after only a few weeks, the determination faded and so did the amount of effort. Many Christians have experienced the same in their relationship to Jesus Christ. The excitement fades with time and so does their dedication and effort. My prayer is that we will continually seek the abundant life in Jesus Christ.
