If you had the proper receiver, I wonder how many different radio, TV, and other signals you could hear? On a recent trip that question came to mind as I searched for music on the radio in my vehicle. Even in the quietest of places, there are many sounds and messages we are not equipped to receive. We also need to hear from God. But in order to hear, we must be equipped to receive. The noise and routines of any given day tend to drown out the “still small voice” of God that we so desperately need to hear. Need to hear from God? Jesus told us to seek and we would find. We have been given a hint about how to know God’s way. Go to a quiet place and be still.
