A recent event at our Nation’s Capitol on May 16 involved the unveiling of a statue of Rev. Billy Graham. There are no words to describe the impact Dr. Graham had on our nation and the world. Through his preaching and evangelistic efforts millions were able to hear and respond to the simple gospel of Jesus Christ. The opened Bible in his left hand with his right hand pointing to a passage is the picture etched in the minds of many who followed his ministry. Two passages are engraved on the sides of the base, John 3:16 and John 14:6. These were referenced in many of his sermons as he shared the message of salvation. May we continue his ministry of sharing Christ with others.
