It is exciting to see someone you have not seen for a few years and be astonished at a change that has occurred. Such was the case this week with a young person I had not seen for probably ten years. The two- or three-year-old was now a maturing young person. I am sure there were scrapes and bruises, tears and hurts along the way, but the growth was obvious. In much the same way, those of us who come to know Jesus as our Savior grow spiritually. Prayerfully, Jesus makes a difference in the way we live. It might not happen without trials, triumphs and tragedies but being in Christ will certainly make a difference in the way we live.
