We need look no farther than nature to know God is. A recent article reminded me of one of the intricate details of Oak trees. They actually prepare for winter. They shed their leaves, drain water from their cells to avoid freezing, and produce a substance that acts as an antifreeze through the winter months. Without this complicated preparation for winter, many trees would not survive to continue growth in the fall. If trees could talk, they would tell us much about the God we serve. So, allow the colorful leaves in the fall, the budding limbs of the spring, the refreshing shade of summer remind us that God is and that He is the Creator of all.
